Coaching

Introduction

Thank you for stopping by.  In 2017, after running for 5 years, I dictated to try my hand at Coaching.  The Head Coach for Dave’s Running asked me if I’d be interested in coaching in their 5k summer program.  I said yes and really liked it. So much so that I went to the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and became a Certified Distance Running Coach.  I coached in the PR5K program, then progressed to their Marathon In Training (MIT) program held twice a year.

Up to this point, I have only coached in the Group Setting, but some day hope to venture out in the the area of individual coaching.

Mission Statement:

To provide encouragement, guidance and support to help dedicated runners achieve their maximum potential.

Coaching Philosophy:

My ultimate goal is for my runners to maximize their potential to achieve their goals in an injury-free and enjoyable fashion. Whether they are training for their first 5k or a marathon, I will provide guidance to help them optimally prepare for their event, in a manner that fits their schedule and minimizes the risk of injury.
